Bike Fitting
The combination of a bicycle and it's rider is a machine. If the relationship of the rider to the bike is in sync, the machine will not operate to it's potential. While many cyclists will take the time to keep their bicycle in excellent working order, they won't take the steps necessary to make sure that they are in the best position to be more powerful, aerodynamic, and comfortable.
Cyclists like to say that performance is not about the bike, it's about the engine, but the truth is performance is about a strong engine working in sync with the bike.
Eric Sorensen is certified by F.I.S.T., FitKit and Specialized Body Geometry. Each fit will have a question and answer session, range of motion and physical assessment, take measurements on you and your bike, take digital and/or video capture of you pedalling your bike, determine where changes could made and then adjust the bike, including reccomendations on components such as saddles, bars, and stems.
Each fit lasts 3-4 hours and includes follow-up consultations for feedback and adjustments.
Cost: $375
All bike fits are now offered through CycleLife DC in Georgetown.
